Mahathir announce ship-to-ship project - fall right into the location of the Forest City project.

Unless Mahathir is going to cancel the Forest City project --- there is no way the STS project can be carried out when the Forest City project is build.

If the STS project is to be built beside the Forest City project --- it means it will cross over into Singapore Territorial Water --- where now the 2 illegal Malaysian ships anchor into Singapore Territorial Water.

This will be a serious breach of violating Singapore Sovereignty.

Johor International Trade, Investment and Utility Committee chairman Jimmy Puah Wee Tse said in a statement that the hub is located located 3.5 nautical miles from Johor shores.
---
Straits Times reported that the STS project will be 3.5 nautical miles from Johor shores or 6.482 Kilometers away.

So this mean - it fall right into the Forest City project.

Then Mahathir and the Crown Prince - will start to bicker whether the STS project is going to replace Forest City project - as the Forest City project is signed between Johor and China whereas Mahathir sign the STS project with HongKong Hutchinson.

Now that it is clear that Singapore and the crown prince of Johor are all in the dark about the shipping hub project, Li Ka Shing would be wise to exercise extreme caution in partnering with the current federal govt of Malaysia which does not honour rules, laws and contracts and has done his own due diligence.

Nothing new. May be thats Mahathir's get rich scheme for xxxx. He got no share in HSR or the RTS link and the rail project so all have to be shelved. He need to create new projects & new opportunities.

Do not underestimate this killing mace of Mahathief, proud army sure to lose.骄兵必败。
Sg is located at the most strategic point where $5T of sea trade pass through annually, where 80% China sea trade & energy supply ply through. That make SG PSA a hub where global & all China big commodities trans ship.
Over 2decades ago, ZUS in disguise of Holland's Mersk shipping, demand PSA from SG with threat to open a competing port at Pasir Gudang(PG) at 30% fees (one of Mahathief's dream to kill SG by giving free land). Strongman LKY refused, so No.1 Mersk, No.2 Evergreen(Taiwan is ZUS controlled) & No3 West shipping lines went over PG. That was supposed to create a strong condition to force all shipping lines go over if to connect with the 3 biggest shipping companies.
Under existential threat, PSA went on deep restructuring & unprecedented large retrenchment to lower fees. SG future appeared gloomy as PSA has chain effect on business in shipping supply, bunker fuel, financial, industrial, large commodity, etc.
So our forefathers LKY long term strategic friend China came to SG rescue, with Cosco guaranteed containers volume. That stabilized the crisis as China is single Asia largest commodity trans shipments. Soon Merks & Evergreen are forced to return to link up with the world.
But pinky(blackmailed by Obama) aligned with evil axis ZUS-India to threaten China 80% sea lanes, allowing USN to use Changi Navy base in violation of our Non-Align pledge. China responded with mega investment in multi ports, mega financial city & industrial park in JB.
This time LeeKS investment is even more threatening than PG, as its more strategically locate near SG Tuas, focusing on taking over large commodity trans shipment.
If LeeKS worked for ZUS, then we lost our most strategic port status in a dual tongs attack from PG. If he work for China, then we are doomed with Cosco moving all China big commodity trans shipment there, with everyone follow to trade. In both way, Sg is screwed by LHL.
The result of these clowns pretending to think big, talk loud, and act like superpower to self entangled with China geopolitical struggle in ZUS-India threat.
You elect sham leaders, you pay for the price. This is only first instalment. Losing ship visits means less Bunker fuel, 2ways supplies, drop in financial transaction, weaken industrial supply efficiency cost, domino effect..etc.
