Good thing the new chief minister graduated from an university in Indonesia - where they don’t have sultans to kowtow to. Mahathir's reminder that sultans were the ones who ceded the Malay states to the British - hence unsuitable to run the country - will help to keep the pompous Johor sultan in check.

Is Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman that want Singapore out and subsequently gain independence in 1965 from Malaysia a Sultan?
Everything your Mahathir say - you believe?
But you don't check the facts?

Yonghua Lin - Then how about 1965 separation between Singapore and Malaysia - which is the most recent?

Believe "half truth" only?

Take what benefit him and discard those that don't benefit him?

Ricky Lim In 1965 UMNO was not confident it could subdue Singapore as PAP linked up with other parties in Malaya and East Malaysia supportive of a M'sian Malaysia. The financially poor Malay support base barely outnumbered the non Malays, comprising mostly non Malay speaking Indonesian and south Thailand migrants in rural areas (unqualified but still granted citizenship, special privileges) who are difficult to mobilize.

Yonghua Lin -
I don't need to know your reasons or excuses.
I only talking about facts. A fact is a fact. A spade is a spade --- no use to argue for the sake of arguing - when the fact present itself. Only dishonorable people keep arguing - twist and turn fact - when the fact present itself.

Mahathir has conveniently ignore the fact :-
(1) A PM did cause the separation of Malaysia and Singapore.
This PM is not a Sultan --- but he fail to say this - he only talk about the Sultan.

(2) Don't you know that your Mahathir - is famous for "half truth" and king of "roti prata flip flop"? --- And yet many gullible Malaysians like yourself are supporting his "half truth" --- bringing disrepute to Malaysia and bringing down its reputation as a trustworthy nation.

He keep talking about 3 sen of raw water that he sell to Singapore - but ignore the fact that Singapore has spend S$1 billion on Johor waterwork - that not only benefit Singapore but also Johor. Thus he give up his right to revise the water price at that time.
Now after many years, he roti prata and demand a water price revision when in the agreement - he lose his right to revise the price.

Ricky Lim UMNO leaders (royal relations, palace officials - British puppets) and their PMs had been running the show since the sultans were further downgraded by the British in 1946 - to protect self-interests.

Not responding to you anymore.
You are just like Mahathir - twisting the truth with fact right in front of your face.

No wonder many Countries in the World - are sidestepping and brushing Malaysia aside in many international deals.

Your mahathir is your poor role model for his people - with wrong moral values, poor value system that have lose the moral compass.

Stop preaching your wrong moral values to others.
Because it will further lower Malaysia standing in the eyes of the World.

Since the resignation of Osman on Tuesday, uppermost on the minds of many Johoreans is the direction the PH government in the state **will taking** after this.

A lot of jobs are waiting for him. (1) For the sake of Johoreans, Singaporeans and others using the Causeway, open up all the Immigration booths during the day and evening hours. (2) Clean up all the rivers for humankind, fishes and others. (3) Love your neighbor Singapore as Singaporeans and others love Johor. Etc, etc.
