First Pasir Gudang and now this! Looks like the state can't manage something as basic as providing clean water to the people! Bad reflection on the Pakatan government and its leaders

Why can't PUB consider building reservoirs in Pulau Ubin and in other southern islands while enlarging Pulau Tekong reservoir with inter-islands connecting underwater pipes network to supply water to the mainland?

We already have 17 reservoirs  - all over Singapore and in offshore island.
Reservoirs are dependent on rainfall. If drought, no rainfall, reservoirs are not the best way to supply reliable water.
Recycle water (Newater) - is reliable - we used, we recycle, we reused - very little wastage.
Sea water is abundance - is reliable - we can desalinate and use.
