“The new chief minister will have to manage the expectations from both the Johor palace and the federal government. This means he will have to mediate between two strong-headed figures - the Johor sultan and Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad - on a host of issues, from local development projects to bilateral relations with Singapore,” said the PhD candidate.

This show that there is willingness to work towards good bilateral relationship between Singapore and Johor (Malaysia).

The replacement of Johor MB seems to be the right choice.

Very simple , demolish the causeway. There will be no traffic jam.

Henry Lee, you might as well also say..close down all the palm oil industry and grow more durians instead to solve the river pollution problem. Demolish the causeway is the dream of this old snake's plan all along. With that also affects the pipes that supply of raw water to Sg and it will also benefit Pasir Gudang Port where it could be free from being dead ended on one side. That's the reason why he wants to build the bridge and Singapore will not ever allow that to happen.
