(1) Basically this US chipmakers are worried about 2 development :-
(a) Short-term - they lose sale of their chips to Huawei - running into billions of dollars.
- they will lose whole of China's 1.4 billion consumer market.

(b) Long-term - they are fearful of grooming "a hungry and angry tiger" by developing its own tech capabilities in direct head-on chip-to-chip, parts-to-parts in competition with them.

Whatever it is, China should remember that the Anglo-mafia group of evil and Japan will never miss the opportunity to sabotage China. Remember 150 years ago of what happened

Google and the US chipmakers had indicated they don't want a ban on Huawei. That basically sums up the situation which is that they know a prolong ban on Huawei will come back to bite them.

Cambridge entrepreneur Dr Hermann Hauser co-founded Arm, the company being forced to end its relationship with Huawei.

Dr Hauser believes that Arm and US companies like Google and Apple will suffer long-term if America continues its ban on Huawei technology. He said the ban would be “quite damaging” in the short term for Huawei but “incredibly damaging for Arm, Google and the American technology industry in the longer term.

In his own words:

Quote
“All the discussions I have with companies in Europe at the moment are about them going through their intellectual property portfolio and designing American intellectual property out, which is terribly sad and destructive."

I just wish that the Trump administration is listening.

In future, foreign companies will not have intellectual property registered in USA. That means USA will have less investments. It can prevent US use IP to hijack them. Of course, Google, Facebook etc will be banned by China due to national security reason. China companies will not dare to invest in USA. USA will lose out a lot of investments. Of course China will be hurt in some ways.

It affects both parties, and creates a formidable competitor in the process anyway. I hope the ban would be lifted and the trade war would minimize or go away. It benefits no one. High end user price affects sales quantity......People would be less willing to buy products at ridiculous price.

China could suffer some pain for the time being but chinese everywhere must never accept bullying by whites, and the dwarfs from the eastern seas. Don't ever forget how china was cheated, conned and browbeaten into the mud during the gunboat diplomacy of the barbarians.
