It was true....sometime ago...when Hong Kong detained our military equipment.
Since 2018....PM Lee was invited to the last B&R forum and honoured with ceremony as a special guest by President Xi....and recently our president was invited as the key speaker at a forum for Asian civilisation ..in China.
Singapore and our PM Lee is respected by China as the prominent leader in ASEAN. Singapore is now a good friend of China.
In Asia, only Modi and Abe are the lapdogs of the USA...NOT PM Lee

Non-Aligned Movement countries voices are getting weaker. Some members were/are breaking from the movement to go against other non-aligned member. If we want to be respected of our non-aligned position, and think that is the best position for us, we have to be true to the movement. When a departing president of USA, especially rushed to arrange a state visit for SGP, we had lost the art.

Thanks to D. Trump, the world is already polarised into 2 camps! Sadly the Americans are behaving in the world stage as if the world belongs to them. They do not like nations to have a strong link with a rising power like China or a country that has a equally superior weapon like the Russia's S-400 anti missiles systems. The world need to resist the US dominance as long as they view their national interest is above all!
