(1) For China-US trade talk to succeed - both sides must undestand that only "Win-Win" deal encompassing "give-and-take" from both sides - not one side take and never give - can secure the deal.

(2) The success of trade talk between China-US - will not only impact both Countries - but the whole Global Supply Chain - where many Countries will be adversely impacted - if the talk breakdown.

(3) It is thus imperative for China-US trade talk to be successful - if the World don't want to see a Global recession if the talk fail.

What is there left to talk about ?

Every US demands (increasing)..have been put on the table... China had agreed to the reasonable demands, to balance the deficit and more.
China will NE VER agree to the ones which impinge on China sovereign rights. (eg Chinese way of doing business..having state owned business)

China expect the agreeement to be benificial to both the US and China...respect each other as honourable nations. (NOT one that show US wins ALL and China loses its shirt).

As seasoned and rational leaders...Trump and Xi could, with statesman-like wisdom.... agree on issues of common interests and...to leave the contentious ones to be dealt with LATER...in an atmosphere of friendliness and shared future.

This meeting is the time and the opportunity for Trump ... to agree on a win-win deal or to walk away from the summit with Xi.
Trump has the initiative...to score for both the USA and China.
