A person want to rear a pet.
Someone tell him - rear tortoise 乌龟 is the best pet.
Reasons :-
(1) Tortoise eat grass, vegetables - not choosy in foods or need to buy expensive food. Cheap maintenance.
(2) Tortoise can live in water or on land.
(3) Tortoise - no sickness (no need to see vet - which is an expensive maintenance like dogs or cats).
(4) Tortoise is long life (can live up to 100 over years old) - so owners will not feel sad if the pets passed away (like dogs or cats or fish or birds - only can live up to 12 years).
(5) Then the person ask what should I name the tortoise?
(6) Someone say :-
- When the tortoise is young and small - call him 龟仔。
- When the tortoise is at middle age - call him 龟叔。
- The person ask again - what name should you call him when he grow old?
- Someone say call him - 龟公。
= 哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈 。。。。
