Saudi and Iran must talk - before Sunnis and Shiites can find space to reconcile.

Else the centuries and decades of conflict, worldwide Islamic terrorism cannot be solved.
It must start with Saudi and Iran - the nexus of Sunnis and the nexus of Shiites ---- to sit down and talk, with the willingness to share spaces and reconcile.
Both sides should agree to sponsor terrorism of their different factions in the various Countries.
Specifically, Saudi should stop sponsoring Sunnis militant and terrorists.
Iran similarly should stop sponsoring Shiites militant and terrorists.

Because sponsoring terrorism will karma back (boomerang back) -- eg. ISIS sunnis hit back at Saudi and Iran.
Al-Qaeda sunnis hit back at Saudi and Iran.
Shiite militas hit back at Iraqi civilian in south Iraq.
