Actually a simple fact is that :-
(1) If PAP do well as a Government, it will mean PAP will win more seats as MPs and no seats in NCMPs.
(2) If PAP did not do well, it will mean WP will win more seats as MPs and PAP will landed with seats in NCMPs.
Thus, I do not see the changes of NCMPs from 9 to 12 have any adverse impact on the oppositions. In fact if PAPs continue to do well as Government, more oppositions of 12 NCMPs are represented in Parliament.
It all boil down to whether PAP continue to do well as Government and WP is effective as an opposition or not.
