Yes the 4th Industrial Revolution - will displace millions and millions of workers worldwide be it developed countries and developing countries - as disruptive technologies that provide not only brawn but also brain will replace millions of workers in massive scale.

In the worst scenario, only 1% of the people will be ultra rich and 99% of the world population will be jobless as many job functions will be undertaken by robots, drone, AI, etc.

Capitalism or market economic model - may not be relevant in this context.

The solution - may be to look at a new economic model to allocate scarce economic resources, money supply to feed the World Population.

Just wonder will Socialism or Planned Economy (with equitable distribution of resources) - the best way forward?

Based on my knowledge, in the Divine realm - some called it Heavenly realm, some called it Paradise, some called it Pureland ------- (equitable distribution of resources) is happening in the Divine realm. Has Earth attained this Divine realm and Earth Realm (via Capitalism or market economic model) - can no longer work as all job functions have been replaced by 4th industrial revolution? ----- we have reached the Asura Realm - and no longer conducive for Human realm?

Or a combination a hybrid of Planned + Market Economic model - maybe the way forward.

Planned Economy - is the basic monetary system provided to the World Population to maintain a sustainable lifestyle.

Market Economy - is on top of basic monetary system - to encourage entrepreneurship - for luxury category.

Eg. every month a fixed amount of $ allowance will be credited to each person in the World (based on the "production by robots") - by the World Financial body - to upkeep his/her living. (Planned Economy)

If a person wanted a more luxurious lifestyle, then he/she work extra to invent or develop new gadgets or robots - that are sold to their individual country for trade (Market Economy).

Own stocks, they will benefit from tech, workers will not.

The losers include regular people all over the world, the winners are about 150 already massively wealthy industrialists.

I guess we people will get the jobs that the robots won't do, the jobs that are beneath them :). I think that AI threatens more than just the middle class and entry level jobs. Once the machines can learn and reason they'll be able to do most white collar functions better than man can. Doctor's, lawyers, accountants, etc., who are human won't be able to compete with an AI robot that has all of the knowledge of it's field available instantaneously and acquire a level of knowledge and ability that is beyond mankind's ability. Politicians are probably safe because we won't want the machines making the rules we live by, but they'll likely have some AI robots for aides.
