So many Malaysian states affected by heatwave and drought.

No rain, rivers and reservoirs drying up - how to produce treated water?

Mahathir and Osman Saipan say want to produce their own treated water in Johor - no rain, rivers and reservoirs drying up --- how to produce their own treated water?

Johor residents kenna tipu by Mahathir and Osman Saipan.

And where is Singapore getting their water, vegetables and eggs from? Don't gloat at the misfortune of others because it affects us directly.

Kenneth Avan - Who is gloating over the misfortune of current drought face by Malaysia?

Mahathir and Osman Saipan have always been threatening Singapore about our water supply.

This is a statement of fact - where drought is a common phenomenon in Malaysia since 2015 until now that happen for many months.

It is a reminder to Johor residents that they should not trust what Mahathir and Osman Saipan's words that they can produced treated water to Johor residents when they are short of rainfall.

It is suicidal.

Ricky Lim Read your first post. It's reeking of smugness. If that is not gloating, I don't know what is.

Kenneth Avan - Are you reading the words, or are you reading based on your emotion or imagination?

If you read my original text - words by words --- it says, if Malaysia don't concentrate on the source of water - that is properly storing them --- when drought comes - it is no use to build more treatment water plant or quarrel with Singapore over water price.

Because there is not enough water to treat.

You are not reading the words as it is.
You interpret based on your skewed interpretation based on your emotion
or imagination.

Please point out (which of my words or my statement) say it is reeking of smugness or gloating?

Ricky Lim the fact that you see fit to lecture Malaysia on what the should be doing is already proof that you are taking delight in their misery. And one only needs to look through all of your other spiteful comments on Malaysia in other articles to prove that you are gloating. You also see fit to add in "Johor residents kenna tipu by Mahathir and Osman Saipan." which was absolutely unnecessary unless the intention was to pour scorn.

And please Mr Genius, how does a country store large volumes of water besides dam, reservoirs and rivers which are at the mercy of droughts? As if Singapore's aren't prone to drying up. Please share if you know of a storage method that is immune to evaporation.

Kenneth Avan - You can interpret whatever way you want.

A fact is a fact.
As long as they don't do things that hurt our National Interest (including breaching a sign International Agreement) - we will leave them alone.

Now they want to unilaterally alter the water agreement - to threaten our right of existence - and you seems to stand on their side to hurt Singapore interest.

If they do things to hurt us - we have the right to respond.

You seems to side them to hurt Singapore - why don't you go over to be their citizen - because you are helping them to hurt our National Interest.
You don't even understand their underlying intention --- when you so willingly stand on their side to aid in their cause.
If they breach the water agreement - our Separation Agreement will be called into question - that threaten our Right of Existence as an Independent Nation.
That is what they are trying to do now - and you are so willing to stand on their side to give them bullet to shoot Singapore interest.

So now you have understood the implication of the current water dispute --- will you still stand on their side - to threaten Singapore's Sovereignty and Existence?

Singapore reservoirs are near full capacity - and i don't have to tell you how.

Btw, is Kedah the home state of the vintage Old M ? If so, can he now says "everything is under control, no need to declare state of emergency" as this is just part of "karma" for all his "morally wrong" doings to S'pore" ?

Ooops .... forgot that the current Chief Minister or Mentri Besar of Kedah in Mukhriz Mahathir is the son of the vintage Old M, so how now ?
Vintage Old M die die also must give priority but with what and from where to get those "drinkable water" as unlike Johor, Kedah is so far away from S'pore,
Also, there is no reason for S'pore to render any "goodwill gesture" to help Old M & Son's Kedah who are constantly threatening us, unlike Johor sultan who is so friendly with S'pore.

Mahathir must start suing the weather for not producing enough rain. lol

If he dares to sue, the sky will want him to pay MR2.40 per thousand gallon as Msia is now getting free from the sky with S'pore bearing this high cost for all the treatment to make it drinkable.
