Because Mahathir spend most of his time focusing on the wrong things such as picking fight, flip flop international signed agreement, burnt investment, discourage investors etc - instead of doing the right things to grow the economy, building ties with neighbors to promote trade, investment, business etc.

If Mahathir refuse to step down - he will bring everything down.

The last 2 by-election that show BN beating PH - demonstrate no-confidence in Mahathir as Prime Minister.

Mahathir is not solving the problem face by the voters and not fulfilling the GE promise - but in fact make matter worst.

Mahathir with his old thinkings, old way of doing things, full of grudges - are not helping in the governance - but instead waste time politicking than governing and picking fight with Singapore and flip-flop on investment policies that deter investors like China, Singapore and other Countries.

Mahathir should seriously consider stepping down and let his successor take over - as voters are getting more and more disenchanted by this archaic Mahathir --- who propose nothing new and pragamatic policies - but instead lock on old grudges and old way of doing things --- that is not very valid in the current global political and economic climate.

The old snake is too overly engrossed in tackling Najib and the country's debts situation at the same time as the result neglected the 'bread and butter issues' that is plaguing the country especially to those of his fellow kind. And I suspect he is putting up a lot of his effort to subtly paving a way for his son's political career to take over Anwar as PM.

Yes, Anwar should replace Mahathir immediately. No delay for the sake of Mahathir who is very tired and cannot think properly; cannot think straight.

Dr M will only move forward until he get his old baggage with Singapore is done with. He claimed Singapore will lose in a World Court and he doesn't want that. Fantastic if I am Singapore I would tell him politely please take us to the World Court at least we can finally get it out of his head and when he goes he can rest in peace. Win or lose Singapore can finally get Dr M out of our head.

M is too busy diverting all the attention to his old issues with Singapore, those old issues he had harboured for so long. As for handing over, not sure if it is even on his mind. So far, not much is mentioned. Creating such ripples might not be good in the long run, moving forward and seek improvements in the economy will help Msia to grow n develop well.

Not a good idea.
There will be a by-election in Rantau soon.

Anwar should let Dr M be the PM until Rantau by-election...so that Anwar will not be blamed if PH lost again.

What PKR's Kumaresan Aramugam said actually make sense.

Old man to handover the PM snd also reshuffle the cabinet.

Problem is.. those that needs to be replace won't let go so easily.

He can not get his way even by parking a cartoon boat in our water.
So last week he attack his own country man & woman (Johorean). I am sure his statement is targeted at the King of Johor!

I regret voting for Dr.M via PH, causeit looks like he is creating trouble for both Johor and Singapore. No HSR, No RTS, No MACS, No Joint Committee on Iskandar, No to Forest City, No to MM2H, No BRT, No Mega Theme Parks.

For far as a Johorean that voted PH( Dr.M.)
It lookslike only Yes to More Causeway Jam, Yes to Worst Connection with Singapore making many Johoreans suffer hours of Jam, Yes to blocking Johor's joint development with SG. The new MB has no degree and yet wanna built own water plant which is totally silly when even RTS not build !

All these makes me feel regret that I didn't vote Najib. Yes was allegedly corrupt and may be true even if found so, but the fact is with him at least things go done in Johor !

Sad even now as a Malaysian I diverted investment meant for iskandar to Manila as even they have already launched the mega Manila Subway Project of 35km to be build now with Japanese Technology. And the RTS of 1km in Iskandar to SG ?

If this continues trust me many Johoreans or even Malaysians will start to return to Umno. I for one even as a Chinese will vote Umno if it brings development back to Iskandar -Singapore region. Bye bye PH if it doesn't buck up !

Anwar is right to state that it was not possible to see the effort of the govt within a period of several months BUT what the people see are that Mahathir 2.0 is subtly morphed back to Mahathir 1.0 with his infamous U turns and his government lost sense of direction, incoherent policies, picking fights with neighbours and lack of inspiration which what brought PH to power. Hopefully Anwar will able to do a better job IF he takes over now. If Anwar takes over too late, Anwar will have no time to repair the damage done by Mahathir and Ex-BN govt combined!!! The PH coalition pack is for Anwar to take over in 1 to 2 years. Two more months PH is one year old. Anwar, it is the right time for you to show what you can do for your country, let the Old Horse rest lah!
