The public perception of PH has been poisoned by negative social media and PH appears to be on the defensive all the time.

Mahathir simply wants control - as long as he is alive.
Mahathir always do this - by creating "artificial crisis" - so that he can take control.

(1) Mahathir bring down Badawi - by creating "artificial crisis" - crooked bridge to bring him down.

(2) Mahathir bring down Anwar - by creating "artificial crisis" - spin a tale about sodomy (which turn out to be untrue).

(3) Mahathir bring down Najib - by creating "artificial crisis" - 1MDB corruption.

Mahathir always try to create "artificial crisis" - by making Singapore as a bogeyman - by harping on water prices, now port limit, airspaces etc ---- to divert domestic difficulties.

Mahathir is always not doing the right things - by focusing on the economy, trade, business, investment, how to benefit his own people --- but instead always creating "artificial crisis" to pick fight with others (and fooling his people) --- to side him to fight "self created" adversaries --- so as to put him in the helm, so that he can continue to rule and to control.

But he fail to do things that will actually benefit his people.

Thus Mahathir got to step down - if Malaysians want real change to come.

Of course no mentality changes. Same old PM, same old politicians, same old oppositions, same old voters - the only thing different is probably a change of clothes.

If GE14 consist of all Malay voters, UMNO would still be in power no matter how corrupt Najib and his gangs were. This is a fact begining to seriously show from the lost of the two by elections by PH
Quote: "Ask not what the country can do for you but what you can do for the country" Uquote: John F. Kennedy
From the above quote, you can draw an obvious implication.

Alamak! Now Malaysians just wake up & realize they are in "Reverse Gear" because of PM Dr.M.Anyway is good UMNO is back with new blood and won this bi-election. Now PH should know that they will be punish by their own people for focusing on wrong issues! Like "water agreement, unilaterally moving port limits against Singapore, inhibiting aircraft movements at Seletar Airport & etc. Malaysians will do very well without this "old, overused, old fart" at the helm. UMNO successes will be a good signal to PH,that the people do not support a government who are unfriendly towards their neighbor, amongst other issues. "KIP",Kick in peace, Dr.M.

The airport and port issues with Singapore are just distraction strategies on non performance by the 'great ?' old man...the real reason is, he cant afford to lose an important Johor constituency in future as well, so these issues he created are just acts of desperation

Racial politics rules in a country that is easily swayed by race issues intermixed with religion. Inability to distinguish national interests with personal ones is costing Malaysia dearly.

A load of garbage...from a Chinese commentator who is out of touch with reality.

The Malays and Islam are fighting for political power...pure and simple.

The Malay with a 68% majority in Malaysia...was defeated one year ago...
UMNO was defeated for the first time in 60 years..
The Malays were humiliated ...this fired them up.

UMNO and PAS finally realized that they have to join forces ...to regain political power for the Malays. UMNO has started to fight back...very successfully.

Since Cameron highland...they have a simple and winning message.
Vote for UMNO... is a vote for Malays, a vote for Bumi rights, a vote for Islam supremacy.
Vote for PH.. is BAD for Malays, is BAD for Islam.

Dr M and Anwar are Malays, are Muslims....they cannot fight against this UMNO message. From now on, they will lose all by-election and the next GE.

Still I won't my money in Malaysia to help her economy if her government does not change ways of treating Singapore. Have no reasons to help those who harbour and want to do harm to us, right?

How could it be possible for Malaysia to progress and economy recovery if the evil spirits mindset of Mahathir continued his stubborn goes against the world, bad habits to do things his ways regardless right or wrong and unfulfilled promises.
To make things worse all political politicians including ministers and Mahathir himself are prone to use racial tools to gain political strength. This racial issues had been regularly fears to all non Muslim in Malaysia which they had suddenly switch support to PH in the hope to equal rights if DAP enter parliament. But till now under PH's Mahathir incharge, it seems nothing has been changed, even worse than the previous BN govt.

Regime change can hardly change the M'sian psyche because all the so called "political leaders" are just "Political Opportunists" taking care of their personal agenda and self interest first not the country even though you may have abundant natural resources.
With their majority advantage, these political opportunists will keep using "race & religion" to score political points and gain power.
As mentioned before, PH = BN, Bersatu = UMNO, DAP = MCA , etc ?
In layman term, you need a "Total Engine Overhaul" or in political term means "Revolution" to change the psyche of people otherwise it's just "changing water without changing the herbs to get rid of the deep-rooted toxic" ? Not too sure if this can happen in M'sia ?
Hope states like Johor, Sabah and Sarawak start to seek for independence for their own good and better future for their younger generation ?

In a nutshell why Malaysia is f*cked-up. The main reason is the Malay mentality of opposite extremes, the corrupt urban few sitting on top of the kampong majority. The historical rulers, the Sultans, have sadly been sidelined with comfortable allowances. What's needed is for NewGen Malays to partner the Rulers to form and monitor a Government of Chinese and Indians, and to convince the Kampong Majority that they shall be helped first. And pack all the Corrupt Urban Few into jail.
