Residents staying at the rental flat, majority of them either the elderly or single parent. Most of them need financial assistance. Talking about buying a hdb flat. Will be a burden to them. At the present moment, any repair work needed at least they can inform hdb. If they purchase the unit how are they going to pay any repair if needed. That is most our Singaporean kept telling the government not to increase the gst. Do the government know tough is life for our local Singapore. What you are looking at is most of them either FT or those people like our minister with big fat pay packet.

Furthermore, now hdb flats no longer an asset for our citizen. And our cpf required a minimum sum for our retirement account. All this is very easy for the minister to talk and implement. Now our government no longer like the 1st generation PAP, Lky and his team had done a lot for our citizen. They really look into the interest of our citizen. Now like now, the government going to squeeze you dry. And allowed foreigners to take advantage of our Singaporean.
