What is Johor Mentri Besar Osman Saipan doing?
He is totally ineffective - unable to handle this emergency situation.

Some more task to handle water treatment - think Johor is going to die of thirst.

The crown prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, has hit out at the authorities over their handling of a toxic waste pollution incident that has so far left more than 2,700 people ill.
In a series of tweets late Thursday (March 14), the outspoken royal said: “Since the first day (Mar 7), an emergency should have been declared and residents temporarily evacuated elsewhere, until it was guaranteed safe.”
“Two thousand people affected and no need to declare an emergency. Wow. Amazing.”
“Never mind that there wasn't (an emergency) declaration. But at least evacuate the area until everything is stable and safe,” he added.

The crown prince will have handled this situation better than Mahathir and this Johor Mentri Besar Osman Saipan.

Frank Kam - The news just reported that Mahathir commented Johor state govt did a good job.

Ownself praise ownself - even though Johor residents are very angry how the state govt handle this incidents with so many casualties - and Johor residents threaten to sue them for doing a lousy job.

M is not interested in Johor citizen even the FLAKER is so quiet. He must be angry when Johorean keep so quiet on water issue with SG. The right thing is to clear citizen away from that area like flooding but no one did that. That is why the figure is getting higher by the day.

You should remind the authorities in good time if no action being taken when necessary. Now, is too late to blame each other.....

All the top people are enjoying life while the commoners are sufferinng....They only good at giving lip-service, but mostly do nothing....Sigh.

Mentri Besar Osman Sapian should quit immediately. His stupid comments "the situation is under control " and "no death yet" while the pollution poison continued to raise and more and more students affected and hospitalised.
Osman’s irresponsible attitudes and delayed action caused the poisonous chemical pollution spread wider and thousands of people suffering and admitted ICU urgent treatment.
This fake degrees cheater should be sacked immediately and punish by law.

What the crown prince said is absolutely right there seems lack of national emergency. crisis in both state and federal level.
This is more like China were discharging chemicals into the
waterway is common which damages the eco system.

Haha, don't know who said 3 arrested and now police chief said no arrest has been made. Must be corruption again. Someone must have been paid by the company responsible to close an eye or both on the dumping of toxic waste.

Johor people must speak up on the toxic waste dumping and hold the johor govt, especially the Chief Minister, who said the worst was over and no one had died, and the federal govt responsible.

The Crown Prince of Johor seems to be the only one brave enough to call a spade a spade. His comments are fully justified and he has spoken out of sheer concern for his fellow Johoreans.I think it is also to spur a faster and more effective response from the federal government.

“We did not say it. There were other parties that mentioned that, but the police do not have any arrests,” - Can anyone believe this ???? And the fat tadpole of a CM (has anyone noticed how well fed he is???) still following the snake around to say everything is going to be ok !!!! Could the dumpers to the toxic materials be from some companies closely connected to the venomous snake ??? Now that there's nobody arrested to be charged..... the snake would claim that this chemical may have fallen out of the sky...
