The head of Amnesty's East Asia's office said: "Authorities need to show they are willing to protect human rights in Hong Kong, even if this means pushing back against Beijing's 'red line'."

(1) Very interesting comments by Amnesty Orgn. - that it encourage to surrender Sovereignty and accede to the HK protestors' human right - to declare independence.
(2) No Government will allow such ridiculous demand by Amnesty Orgn - which tantamount to encouraging HK protestors to commit treason.
