(1) If Singapore agrotech R&D also partake such food technology to develop vegan meat from animal cells or vegan food --- then it will be one big way to solve our food supply problem and ensure self sufficiency.
(2) Because animal cell production of vegan food - won't take up much land space.
(3) If successful and result in mass production - exporting such vegan food will also be possible - and open up a new agrotech vegan export sector.
Eg. chicken vegan meat
fish vegan meat
pork vegan meat
beef vegan meat
mutton vegan meat
eggs vegan
how about durian vegan etc.

(1) By doing so, the incentives to slaughter cow, sheep, poultries like chicken, duck, fish etc will get lesser and lesser.
(2) And consuming healthy vegan foods to replace meat will ensure people will become more and more healthy associated with less consumption of meat food.
(3) If sucessful in developing such vegan food by our agrotech R&D and produce for mass market for domestic consumption and export market --- then this feat will be equivalent to :-
- the same feat of developing our Newater as our one water tap for self-sufficieny in water
- the same feat of developing our Desalination water as our 2nd water tap for self-sufficieny in water.
