(2) Huawei itself can already develop its own OS and a full-suite of its own mobile apps for their own domestic market - without using Google apps.

The US can do it to China, they can do it to the EU or any other countries. That's really a bully, trump wants countries to lick his toe and do whatever he asked. The world should not depend on the US but come up with an alternative.
