Coalition parties to form our Government is not the right form of Government for Singapore today.

Coalition parties have different diverging interest and varied competencies that is not the best for Singapore.

Fragmentation, polarisation and confrontation politics will be the order of the day and will work against the interest of Singapore.

In fact :-
(1) A 2 Party Government often result in deadlock or lameduck governance eg.
- US budget shutdown, policies in limbo etc
- UK Brexit - deadlock, in limbo

(2) A coalition Government - make up of many Parties will be even worst - as various political parties have their own self-interests and many a time - a Government policy drawn have to take into account all the varied interest of various coalition parties ---- but not the public at large.

The "nature of PAP Politics" over last decade or more, many have seen many "dirty linens of the leegime" being displayed glaringly in world's most expensive city of Singapore :-

- ex-PAP MPs/SCDF sex scandals,
- ex-AMKTC GM corruptions,
- KEPPEL-BRAZIL Bribery,
- AGO-PA/Ministries Financial/Accounting Lapses,
- Tax haven Panama Papers/Paradise Report,
- SGH-HEP C 8 Deaths/22 Long-term Sufferers,
- 16 NSF young sons Death,
- 2 SMRT workers death,
- SingHealth Data Hack,
- HIV Data Leak, ...etc!

And Singaporeans' life- and livelihood-threatening broken promises of :-

- HDB=0 Depreciation Policy,
- CPF=0 Withdrawal Age 55 EXTENDED,
- JOB=0 for PMETs...etc

Whilst $$$ grab tax increases (GST 9% CONFIRMED) and costs of living escalation, yet $$$ millions salaries/bonuses/pensions continue!!!

The leegime is under MASSIVE FEAR N DESPERATION!!!... domestically and internationally!!!

The greatest threat to them comes from "WITHIN 69.9% REVOLTING" against a DISHONOURABLE SON and his hesitant succession plan to "4G lee-ders" of incompetent "Administrator-HENG" and failure-proven "scholar-generals"!!!

Even S-Elected President was unconstitutionally muddied for a 4-is-5, and Indian-is-Malay for "String Puppetry Coverment" of our National Reserves!!!

Another abuse of power is the POFMA. It is the last resort EVIL N SINISTER attempt by a "DISHONOURABLE SON" to fight free speech in disguise of fake news law!!!

It is also clear that its hidden agenda is to bulldoze all oppositions and opposing views (local or overseas) from portraying the TRUTHS and HISTORY, that will tarnish their "clean and corruption-free" rein of PAP for last 50 years of PAP ...period!!!

You will never understand the common man because you think you're the elite. But it's the common man that will give you the mandate through democracy.

He could say whatever he want, but the PAP will see in the next general election what will happen. People's have enough in all the sweet promise that they have make in the past year they hold power. But the trust that the people's give to them is now living in miserable life with the high cost of living expenses. Taking, holding on to all singaporean money as they like as they wish, but forget that the power is all in the nation hand's. All of them have to vote out in the next GE, to give a better person that could really take good care of singaporean as will give full fit back on what going on with our hard earnings money. What happen in Malaysia will happen in singapore as well, no comment because on what they all have did to singaporean people's, that is now living in full of suffer in their hand's.

With respect, not so much about "the nature of politics" but whether a government in place is prepared to do right by its citizens' welfare, and whether it practises transparency across the board in respect of the governing process. It is high time that we have a Freedom of Information law, and good and proper minimum wage for our different grades of jobs.

Mr Heng is right, it is not the more political parties will make better govt but how to have better governance through diverse views. Look at India will tell you more is not equate with Good! We should cherish what we have and build on it.

Mr. Heng...welcome to the world of real politics. Hope you would continue to lead Singapore forward to a higher level of governance in true honesty, integrity and with the same or even greater fighting spirit as we face and prepare the many challenges ahead. A point to make tho, Mr. Heng to you as a Politician the 'Nature of politics’ is the biggest ‘unknown’ future challenge for Singapore but don't foget that to the many common Singaporeans like myself, our future challenges could be those of 'bread and butter' issues and concerns that would affect our livelihood. So, please never overlook us.

Politics for the sake of politics and to ignore technological changes are driving all of us downhill. Nobody cares that somebody is not doing well in Sgp. The spirit of togetherness in Sgp is missing.
