(1) Trump is trying to put China's development down by weaponising trade - under the guise of trade war.

(2) Trump is also trying to put the rest of the World's Economy down - by weaponising trade - by levying tariff on trade.

(3) The World should not let Trump bully the World - using coercion and bullying through brute force.

(4) The more the World rely less on USA products and services - the less the World will be held ransom by Trump.

It will strength the resolve to be free from Trump's threats by less reliant on US products or services. The world should be very aware by now. No difference from imperialism.

There is a saying, don't throw stones in a glass house, trump must be really desperate to end the trade war, he is therefore throwing stones aimlessly hoping that he'll get his objectives even with the price of breaking down the glass house.

Don't just say say. Try not to use any American software, service or products. Just follow our MRT and buy cheap train parts from China. Go and start a buy China campaign. Give up your citizenship whichever country you are from and migrate to China.

黄柏安 - Trump not the only one. Don't forget he is surrounded by anti China hawks, John Bolton, Pompeo, Peter Navarro and Pence, who are bent on destroying HuaWei and China as a whole. Well, they maybe able to slow down the progress of HuaWei and China. But many of their own tech companies in the supply chain are also going to suffer. That is why they delay the ban for 90 days so that they can assess the damaged done to their own companies and economy.

John Low same logic to rebuff you. Take down all the made in China staffs from your body, you will probably be running naked, and please don't take the mrt trains which is made in China, even the bicycles and pmds are also made in China. Your fridge, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iPhone and ipad are all made in China. If you visit China, China will welcome you because you are ethnic Chinese, but if you visit America, the Americans will think all Chinese are the same and you're just third class people in the USA, below the African race. So don't anyhow talk lah, go visit shanghai and you will find out the truth about China.

Lifting a stone to smash your own feet, the desperate move to ban Huawei ended up big drops in NASDAQ tech stock. Next time think before you act, Mr roti prata president, we all knew that you are anxious to stop the trade war with China but at least use some proper persuasive techniques instead of the mafia tactics of threats and the stupid ah long way of splashing petrol onto the entrance door but later found that it is your own house on fire.

Augustine Teo Hello, do you know that the belt and road is going to take away your jobs and wealth? Unless you are from China or intending to migrate back to China, reckon if they accept you if you marry their woman and have babies, you are going to die standing when the American companies in Singapore packed up and go home. Maybe you think Huawei will build factorry here and pay you the high salary you are expecting.

The USA is cutting its nose to spite its face. When a country, like the USA, places or bans access to components to countries like China, the obvious outcome is that the affected country viz. China will eventually become self-reliant. By not minding its own business it is having a negative impact on its own growth and progress e.g. Russia's advance in aircraft, weaponry and satelite development is leaving the USA scrambling in the dark! They would be so much better off by working on their own projects. Huawei's 5G headstart is putting the USA in the shade and it knows that. The USA does not even have a high-speed rail system, and its electrical grid is antiquated and primitive by ant standard. So, how is it making progress if its focus is on what other countries are working at?

I am pretty sure that EVERY CHINESE IN THE WORLD knew this day was coming! The whole point of "Made in China 2025" is to make China self-sufficient in core technologies, so no foreign country can blackmail China, as the Trump regime is currently doing against every country in the world - whether it is blackmailing countries from buying Iran's oil, or threatening sanctions against European companies for building a pipeline between Germany and Russia. The bottom line is the whole world now sees naked American aggression conducted on a global scale.

As for China, I am sure Huawei, ZTE, et., and ultimately China's government itself know not to trust the Trump regime on anything! Even if a Huawei ban is rescinded, the Tump regime has already shown its face. They tried the same tricks with ZTE only a few months back. Who is going to get fooled again? China is under no illusions that it must make its own semiconductor chips and write its own operating systems. Indeed, Huawei has already said this is very much what they've been doing. Huawei stockpiled a year's worth of supply of chips, it has its own operating system on the shelf, ready to deploy, and it already has other chip suppliers while China builds up its capacity to make the volume it needs. For anyone who thinks China cannot make semiconductor chips, they should know China's fastest supercomputer have been running for years on Chinese made chips. What China needs to do is vastly expand in scale, and this takes some time. But rest assured it will be done! The US is only going to hurt their own sales as they are completely shut out of China's market, which is the largest in the world.

For historical comparison, the US banned military exports to China, as well as bans any cooperation with China in Space. All it has done is made China self sufficient. China builds its own fighter jets, its own missiles and its own aircraft carriers. China also has its own Space program that can make soft landings on the moon without anyone's help. In the long run, not relying on the US has strengthened China in these areas. We just have to repeat the exercise with semiconductor chips and software and other technologies. China can produce anything cheaper than the US, because our people are productive, they work harder, longer hours and demand less. We may not have an abundance of oil like certain countries, but what we have is even more valuable: the brains and muscles of 1.4 billion Chinese people, backed by a patriotic disapora o 50-60 million that is the world's largest. We live in every country in the world. Now, let us all do what we can to help OUR PEOPLE and OUR MOTHERLAND!

Whatever happens, you can be sure China and most other countries cannot trust US products anymore as a dispute could pull the rug out from under your business. Google and Intel better understand this. It may take a while but China will steadily wean itself from such blackmail opportunities
