WE are using Huawei modem

(1) Netlink provide physical fiber connection - the 1st layer of OSI.
(2) Telco provider provide the 2nd layer of OSI as their backbone network - DWDM, SONET/SDH - that multiplex optical signals into one optical fiber by using different wavelength of laser light.
(3) Telco provider like M1 than provide 3rd layer of OSI like Internet gateway such as Huawei modem for internet access.
Only through this 3rd layer of OSI - is where IP packet are routed via the IP gateway to the Internet.
(4) Now it is reported that Netlink fiber - 1st layer of OSI - physical layer is down.
It is not related to Huawei modem - which function at 3rd layer of the OSI - the network layer.

In Clementi Avenue 4 also affected and could not use any of the fibrebrand supported devices. Very unfortunate to experience like this. Please try to resolve it ASAP. Thanks

In ubi ave 1 area also same issue in my house since morning device not working.. till now no resolve this month i having twice this problem. Try calling M1 cannot get line... Pls do as soon.. thank you

My internet still down from early morning today till now. I have done the necessary things, on n off the router. Of the switch. Plug and unplug still
Not working. I called 1627 few times, nobody seem to pick up the call or line buzy.
My homebroadband is down. I can’t access surf the net at all. Are we going to be compensated for it. Fees waiver at least.
Disruption the work flow.
Think this is not the first time M1 had experiencing these problems.
I am staying the eastern side, Marine Parade
So how now?
Could M1 send notification to our mobile no to inform us regarding It. It will safe us lots of times trying to do unnecessary things, spend unproductive hours on and off the router. Go to our pc to do diagnostics etc.
