When there is confrontation - it will always lead to a wider conflict with economic impact and people-to-people relationship.

The rough estimate loss are said to be multi-billion dollars.
Build take years.
Destruction of multi-billions dollars only 1 day and 1 night.

It is reported that the heaviest loss come from China and Taiwan firms.

The oil dig from the offshore oil-rig is not enough to compensate for the multi-billion dollars loss from the riot.

Next time must bring along a CFO (Chief Financial Controller) to compute the cost of each maritime skirmishes in the sea.

(1) Cost of sending navies to the disputed site plus cost of damages result from the skirmishes. -- $million of dollars
(2) Cost of potential riots that damage, loot or destruction to investment on either sides. ---- $multi-billion dollars
(3) Cost of lost trade, business, tourism and investment retailiations. ----- many multi-$billion dollars
(4) Cost of wider conflicts - like activating military maneouvers like fighter plane, navies maneouvering etc.

CFO clink clink clink ------ confrontation cost $ hundred billions dollars lost..... clink clink clink ....
