See, confrontation and conflict has become a lose-lose outcome for both countries and it has also impact investors from other countries not involved in the dispute.

I believe the losses run into multi-millons if not multi-billions. Also so many people injured and even some death.

If confrontation continue or worst at the sea - will we witness casaulty the like of the Titanic or the SKorea Titanic?

Ah got an idea, all the oil that are dig from the disputed areas can be used to fund the lost due to the sea confrontation and then apportion to all the countries that suffer loss from the conflict.

UN should start appointing a CFO (Chiew Financial Controller) with his calculator to count loss and apportion cost.

(1) Vietnam losses :-
- 5 injuries at sea due to ship collision
- 3 ships damaged due to ship collision
- thousand of plants, businsess and investment damaged, looted = multi-billions lost through Economy output lost

(2) China losses:-
- 3 damaged ships due to ship collision
- thousand of plants, businsess and investment damaged, looted = multi-billions lost
- 2 death from riots
- 16 serious injuries from riots- 120 injuries from the riots
- 3,000 evacuated

(3) Other countries lossess - Singapore, SKorea, Taiwan, Japan :-
- Singapore - 2 industrial parks damaged, Flag burnt
- S Korea - many plants damaged and burnt - amount unknown?
- Taiwan - many more plants damaged and burnt - amount unknown?
- Japan - many plants damaged and burnt - amount unknown?

Total Estimated Losses from 2 Rounds of confrontation = Multi-billions dollars lost ?????

For eg. If 2 neighbors have dispute whereby one claim that the neighbor has erect fencing that eat into his land, the 2 neighbors can resolve the dispute in the following ways :-

Unwholesome ways to resolve the “territorial dispute” :-
(1) Quarrel and argue loudly – and this will disturb the neighborhood
(2) Fight it out – and start throwing things at one another – and hurt other neighbors or passerby with flying objects
(3) Call their family members, friends, relatives to outnumber one another in a big fight – and other neighbors and passerby also caught in the big fight and got injured
(4) Use weapons such as iron bar, knives or even guns to shoot at one another or even throw firebombs at one another– and other neighbors and passerby also get injured or even kick the buckets and both the houses got burned down.

Wholesome, peaceful and responsible ways to resolve the “territorial dispute” :-
(1) direct talk and negotiate in a peaceful manner to resolve the dispute
(2) call a 3rd party – eg. Police, counsellor or someone where both can trust to settle the dispute in a rational, logical and adult manner – with “give and take”.
(3) Both neighbors subject themselves to Court Arbitration process – by producing documents to support their claim and honour the Court Judgement.

Notice that the Wholesome, peaceful and responsible ways to resolve the “territorial dispute” will produce a much better outcomes without causing bloodshed and chaos to the neighborhood – and both neighbors will win respect by the whole neighborhood.

See human 3 unwholesome inherent roots of Ignorance of Universal Law, Greed/Attachment, Hatred/Anger will lead to predictable unwholesome outcomes. That is why human are born sinner.

If human has attained 华严三昧 of No-Self, Compassion and Panna Wisdom, the outcomes will be very different. It will be wholesome outcomes of problem resolution, specifically :-

Wholesome, peaceful and responsible ways to resolve the “territorial dispute” :-
(1) direct talk and negotiate in a peaceful manner to resolve the dispute
