Maybe finding answers to the below questions may help to find the root causes of such attacks that has come on recently :-

(1) For those capture, got to find out from them why they have embarked on such attacks? What do they want to get out from such attacks? What motivate them to stage such attacks?

(2) Are those series of attack come from the same group or are they organised spontaneously amd come from different groups? If they are sporadic and spontaneous splinter groups - what motivate them to stage such attacks as they will be arrested or even got killed by police. What are they unhappy or discontented about?

(3) Did they get the support from the whole community or the community support their cause and help to hide them? If yes, then it is a much larger issue and it is not some groups who have their own set of agenda.

(4) Where did they copy the style of attack from? The sword attack seems new, the sucide bomb attack seems to have copied from elsewhere. If the suicide bomb is copied, then who do they learn it from like how to make bomb, how to detonate the attacks etc. Do they learn it from the Internet Web sites or do they undergo training overseas? By interrogating those capture will provide some clues to the questions.

(5) If come from splinter groups and not from 1 group, then did they get the motivation of staging attack based on their underlying subconscious discontnetment and stage the attack by copying the previous group? If they have underlying subconscious discontnetment - what are they?

(6) What outcome in Xingjiang they hope to see will address their underlying subconscious discontnetment - and they will not launch such attacks? Such answers can be obtained not only from those captured but also from Xingjiang larger community as well as surfing the social media website to get the answers.

Only finding the root causes and prescribe the appropriate solutions - then such attacks will be greatly reduced.

In other words, solutions must not only be enforcment or respond militarily, there must be solutions in terms of addressing :-

housing problems, education problems, jobs opportunity, community engagement, changing the integration of minority and majority races engagement, how the community are govern, religious practice etc.

Only then the motivation to form splinter groups to cause mischief will be extinguished and such attacks will not happen.

Let us ourselves, in the past many years such attacks did not take place - why are there so many of such attacks occuring recently?
