A maritime spat over some islands and some oil rig don’t know how much it worth say $100 million of oil revenue - but then all hell break loose.

Few thousands factories and offices got damaged, or burnt or looted multi-billion dollars lost.
Looking at the balance sheet - it is a deep losing business except Ego as the profit but big money lost - akin to burning the money away.

Now people got killed and so many injured.

So much damages in business, investment and people-people relationship got torn apart - madness, blood-letting, vengenace, hatred has now taken over - is it worth the jostling for some islands? Why can't the 2 parties shared the islands?

This manifestation of countrywide rampage - smell bad as it manifest the willingness to fight with their lives and this could be a sign of resolve to fight for their sovereignty - as this could translate to wider conflict and turn the whole region from a peaceful place into armed confrontation.

When there are political squabble between 2 countries - the one that suffer the most are the businesses, investors, workers from both sides and the people from both sides.

The lost are usually compounded and much larger than the object that are being squabble about.
Other than tangible losses, there are also intangible lossess and future earnings.

The most ???? are those innocent parties not involve in the disputes but become ???????? like Singapore, SKorea investment and the most ???? are Taiwan investment who are not even the disputed parties.

Who are then responsible to pay for all the losses?
