At least this is a better outcome - than confrontational stance.

The contumacious and promiscuous parasite M with the propensity to do things out of spite may seemed scintilating. He may enjoyed the ridicule in pasquinade with the parody of 'justice' to stirr up nationalism in his country with malicious intent but he does know the red line as happened in the 90s.

i can vividly recalled that call to turn off the water supply with their forces 'readied' and their General saying to the press.' We will fight until the last drop of our blood.'

It died off days later when their officials, representatives thought they were here to watch a millitary excercise, at least thats what the news said, to have a platform for them descend as not being serious in attempting to start a real conflict. Its to provide a caveat for them to negate too by still giving them the 'face'.

When the representatives were told ,' This is not an excercise, its the Operation we will launch with all the hardware you have all witnessed when you touched the red line about our survival, winning the conflict or not is not that importatnt but this is the all out effort we are committed to'. This was leaked out by their reps who were there unkowingly.(At least the reps were not mendacious as compared to that pompous and pedantic ass M )

The point was made,
So having intrusions, blaming games will not triggered a all out conflict like cutting off water supply which is a direct threat to our survival. They 'can be' dealt with talks diplomatically.

Decades of dealing with this vile creature M has proved that even a signed agreement does not needs to be honoured, why would one believes that he would act in good faith!?

I have yet to find another commodity that jumps by 200% let alone more folds as demanded. Yet some people still called this a 'negotiation'. its more like a demand or should i said, blackmail. Only thugs hectoring others would said an increment of more than 200 folds is a ' negotiation'!

Its not the cost but the attitude, audacity of demanding a more than 200% increment at one go.

My condolences to those whom still believes that M the liscentious cur would act in good faith

Actually you are right.

(1) At that time when the orang tua threatened to cut our water (where our survival depends on) ---- indeed we have prepared an Operational Force ready to take action - if indeed they cut our water ---- and this was communicated across the Causeway.

They immediately de-escalate.
This is the closet event that we could have started a war across the Causeway.

(2) The 2nd events that we almost prepared an armed conflict - is when they intrude vessels into our Territorial Water --- and again we did communicate our intention if they don't back off.

Orang tua immediately post in facebook to say we are twin - and they offer to de-escalate and request for talk.

Across the Causeway, they know where is our red line.
I hope they know when to stop - and not step over our red line.

But if they are willing to talk to come up with constructive solution - we should not push it away --- as talk will help to defuse tension.

If armed conflict erupted - we will win with our superior force - but we will also suffer collateral damages.

Talk is still better that armed confrontation.

Yes sir, i was recalled back to my unit as a reservist after completed my regular service then for standy while that visit was going on.

The Keypoint is that our press just reported that it was just a millitary visit while leaving out the details or the theme of the message.

Yet it was not appreciated by that pompous ass M when we still provide a way out for his public and international standing.

Talking about showing good faith and kind gestures by that mendacious ass M.

Spikey Spikey - Actually many units were activated.
All equipment are brand new.
Full and complete range of ammo are loaded into convoys of hundred over vehicles.

In fact, never seen such an activation before --- and murmur goes around that we are in operation (not training exercise) - and then we did follow up with live firing exercise.

Armour fire their main weapons and GPMG in the firing range.
Soldiers and gunners also fire their personal weapons and other weapons.
And the exercise involve calling air force for air support.
Even airforce practise bombing runs with live bombs.
(Not sure wh
ether Navy fire or not).

In fact, all three forces - air force, army and navy are activated.

Drills are carried out that last for a couple of days - by air, land and sea.

After the exercise, we did not stand down - but in fact still maintain an alert posture.

Before we finally end the exercise and handover all the brand new equipment.

After that, we see in the news that across the Causeway they de-escalate the tension and did not carry out the threat to cut our water supply.

Ricky Lim yes sir, we did.

The most important part is not about showing them the arsenal but our willingness to keep a low profile by keeping the media out so they can still maneuver and bow out without damaging their image and standing.

We were ordered to stay mute on this issue as to avoid any discrepancies concieved or percieved should we talk about it. Had it not for the reps whom leaked it and the growing numbers of people who are ranting nonsense due to their ignorance or negligence.

I would still stay mute keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that prelatic and pontifical ass would came to his senses about what is called being considerate.

Spikey Spikey - don't worry the orang tua already say in a Forum that Singapore military is too powerful for Malaysia and he say he will not want to go to war with Singapore and only want to negotiate.

We can talk to them in the position of strength and not weakness.

In fact, the last few days - many of our State-of-the-Art fighter planes has ramped up the air drill and homing their skills --- in the remote case of last resort - hopefully we don't have to used it.

Ultimately, committing military force even if we win - will still cause collateral damages on both sides.
This is a bad option and should only be used as the last resort - and should not be the 1st used.

We should stay calm and cool - while letting our Ministers and senior government officials talk to them.

MB Osman was told not to visit the vessels by the Federal govt, but still proceed stubbornly. He is also not to the liking of Sultan Johor due to his overzealous ways of doing things. Meeting go ahead but without present of the MB Johor. Ministers Azmin n Saifuddin are currently on gd terms/rapport with spore not Trsport Min Antony Loke who still balk with spore n not relent in diplomacy. So basically the present of vessels is under his directive less Dr Mahathir have final say decide otherwise. To deal with Dr M spore govt need be wary and temper expectation with due diligence. He can change tune spur of moment.

Sg just stop fly over southern johor and that stop all this problem. It is their airspace! Sg have no rights to comments nor insist that we have the rights and benifits both sg and my. Nonsence!
Just ready one who wrote and explain that should sg selects the landing then is will be over toh payoh and other estate near seletar and would singaporian love it and support it?
As for the sea matters leave it to the expert to rule it out in a diplomatic manner unlike what had been stated by our ministers and mps or citizen.
If lky is still around he will never allows such cowboys shooting out of their mouths!

I think you don't understand the issue at hand.

Malaysian airspace is used for all commercial flights - between KL, Penang, Langakwi and some ASEAN countries to Singapore Changi Airport and the now up and coming Seletar Airport.

Are you suggesting to Malaysia to stop all their commercial flights from Malaysia to Singapore?

Firefly already lose RM$20 million a month.
You want their MAS and AirAsia to stop operation?

If their commercial planes want to land in or take off from our airports - they will need to be managed by our air traffic controller - as they don't have visibility into our airports.

As our airports are one of the busiest in the World, where every minutes we have commercial planes taking off or landing ---- Malaysia cannot let their planes land or take off from our airports - that will cause mid-air collision.

Now the orang tua is suggesting something that is ridiculous - and will not be sanction by ICAO.

Eg. in KL airport - they also control the commercial planes coming from Bangkok to land and take off from their airport to ensure air safety.

If the orang tua does not want to budge, there are 2 options for us and for them :-
(1) Cease all commercial flights from KL, Penang, Langkawi to Singapore - that means MAS, Firefly, AirAsia stop operation to land in our airports.
KL to Singapore flights is the busiest in the World --- this will burn a big hole in Malaysia pockets --- we will also suffer loss.

(2) Migrate all their above commercial flight from Malaysian airspace into our Singapore FIR airspace from South China Sea. This means all commercial planes have to pay higher fuel cost as the distance is slightly longer and our airspace will be slightly congested due to the new additional load.
Are passengers willing to pay more for their air fare?

--- These will means no commercial planes will fly in the Malaysian airspace.

Are you suggesting the above scenario to happen?
