The 12 boys rescued from a Thai cave were sedated and passed on stretchers along the twisting, narrow passageways of the Tham Luang complex, a rescuer said on Wednesday (Jul 11)as the first footage emerged of an astonishing mission that has captivated the world.

This explain the mystery why the 12 boys did not struggle and complicate the rescue mission when navigating and diving in those underwater tunnel.
If the boys struggle, it will endanger themselves and the divers.
It is unorthodox but a good method though - as it works.
No wonder no press is allow to take pictures when the boys are rescued and all are stretcher out of the cave - and need to immediately send to hospital for treatment.
