Plastic bags from supermarket are also used to dispose waste at home - liquid or dry waste.
If plastic bags are charge, it will increase the cost of livings for man in the street --- and it will carry political cost --- the like of increasing GST.

Also it will bring about unhygienic behavior at home, as people will refrain from using plastic bag to collect waste -- due to cost involve in buying the plastic bags.

People at home will throw the dry or liquid waste directly into the waste chute --- that will cause rats, cockroaches and other pests to fester.

In addition, it will curb purchase --- because the more people buy, the more they will have to purchase plastic bags to carry the goods.

It make more sense for town council to collect the plastic bag and recycle it as petroleum - and energy source to produce electricity and water  --- rather than imposing the burden on the residents.

Mean while CPF got $11 billion from Singaporeans from Jan to Mar 2018! An average of $259,067 per contributor! Do you know that you can't even fit 1 billion into your iphone calculator when calculating in portrait mode? XD

(1) You are out of topic. This topic is about plastic bags and not CPF.
(2) Your statement about "An average of $259,067 per contributor! " is grossly wrong.
The maximum CPF contribution amount per CPF member is $37,740 per year. Wonder how did you get the fgure?
