Some people have wondered whether Ek's background as a Buddhist monk had helped him stay calm, and help the children, during their ordeal in the flooded Tham Luang cave.

Being a Buddhist monk and guiding the boys to do meditation in the cave - has a tremendous calming effect.

Can attain concentration very easily because the energy in a cave is very conducive for meditation.

The images of those boys in the cave - shows that they are calm and serene when they are found despite 2 weeks in the cave.

In a meditation camp, most meditators meditate for 2 weeks to a month - cut off from the World and consume very few food.

So the coach training as a monk, will certainly able to help the boys to survive the ordeal very well.

Bodhidharma ever meditate in a cave for 2 years.
