The robber should be charged with attempted murder and grievous hurt with deadly weapon.
The 2 victims should be investigated for self-defense causing unintentional death and should be allowed bail.
If wrong signals are send out, armed robberies in Malaysia will go up and crime rate will go up - because robbers are accorded with more protection than victims.
Household will no longer feel safe at home as armed robbers will not hesitate to cause harm to household - as they are more protected by the law than the household.
