Just wonder if the robber slash the police, can the police shoot the robber in self-defense?

If the robber was killed as a result, will the police be charged for murder and sentence to death?

Is the law protecting the robbers and wielding deadly weapon to cause harm?

Or is the law protecting the victims that have been slashed and robbed in self-defense?

Armed Robberies will go up and rob with impunity - if they find out that law protect robbers even they are willing to cause injuries with deadly weapons if wrong signal is send.
