Will the West-Russia divide - become a real "hotspot" ---- will hinge very much on the trust between EU and Russia ---- to want to genuinely resolve the West-Russia divide to :-

(1) look for "Win-Win" solution
(2) to settle "perceived threat" such as bloc membership - amicably - in terms of political, social, economical, military arrangement - not by force or coercion
(3) able to look beyond perceived "West-Russia" divide - to cooperate in trade, finance, investment, business, travel etc.

Only when there are such trust to resolve West-Russia differences - will not cause the "divide" to transform into "hotspot".

Currently, Middle East hotspot rank first. West-Russia divide rank second - but with the potential to transform into a very mammoth, devastating conflict - that has a very severe Global impact.

Asia Pacific region - seems to be calmer and calmer.
