Wonder why recently there is a spate of fire in HDB flat - and the reasons what cause the fire.
Is it because there are charging of more electrical equipment like smartphones, tablets, portable charge or ebike etc - that because of overcharging that trigger the fire?
Or is it because of electrical faults?
The reasons of what cause the fire need to be establish - so that dwellers can be warned to be careful to prevent fire from happening.
On the hindsight, it is very lucky that all HDB flats and I believe private houses are at least 2 hour fire rated - floor, walls, ceilings, doors ---- so that in the event of fire, the fire is contained within the affected unit and not spread to other units or cause the whole block to burn down.
