Afghan troops rushed to area under Taliban attack

There are few things that need to be established.
(1) Helmand is bordering Pakistan.
(2) Where did Taliban come from - through Pakistan border?
(3) US, British and even Russia (previously) for years - are not able to effectively defeat Afghanistan insurgents - why - is it because the terrain and mountaineous range provide natural sanctuary for the insurgents - and even airstrike is ineffective?
(4) What is the troop strength of the Taliban?
(5) What military assets does Taliban possess? What type of weapons do they carry?
(6) The poppy region cannot be harvest or grow effectively in a war zone - when there are airstrike - and even Taliban will not be able to exploit it to turn cash. Why poppy field - which is an open field cannot be targeted if capture by Taliban?
(7) What is the strength of Taliban attacking Helmand and what is the strength of Afghan army in Helmand?
(8) Where did the Taliban get its weapons from?
Unless there are more information, it is not possible to effectively draw out a battleplan.
