The benchmark against deviant is - the Universal Law of Karma.

 

The basic principle is :-

"Do Good. Refrain from Evil".

 

- Think no evil.

- Speak no evil.

- Do no evil.

 

- Think good.

- Speak good.

- Do good.

 

encompassing the following 3 Universal Wholesome attributes :-

 

- No-Self

- Universal Compassion

- Panna Wisdom.
