It is ok for others to drink wine in the same table, while I drink non-alcohol drinks - for social gathering.Reply
It is also ok for others to consume meat in the same table while I served with vegetarian foods.
This is mutually inclusive.
What I consume has sub-conscious influence others on goodness - but I don't impose my values on others. This is Moderation, this is Middle Path, this is Mutually Inclusiveness.

Why I don't consume alcohol - because alcohol will disturb my mental cultivation - resulting in diffused and confused mind devoid of concentration and mindfulness - the 2 Enlightenment values.
Also it will cause me to be not in control of myself and cause health impact to my body - such as gastric pain and strain my liver.
Why I take vegetarian foods - because of Compassion for living things - not to hurt them.
But if others don't share my beliefs and faith --- I does not ostracised them and insist they must comply with what I do - even though it is well-meaning.
This is Moderation, Middle Path.

Moderation, Middle Path --- are sign of tolerance, patience, understanding, accommodating and mutually inclusiveness ---- all these are Enlightenment factors.
Human that possess all the positive Enlightenment attributes ---- will have a very high chance of attaining Enlightenment of Nirvana.

By sharing table does not mean there is contamination of our beliefs or faith.
But refusing to share table - is a sign of intolerance, mutual exclusiveness, lack of understanding of others, ostracizing others --- which is in fact a contamination of our pure moderate middle path mind and heart.
This is true contamination of our belief and faith - that preach tolerance, compassion, patience, mutually inclusiveness, understanding.
