President Jokowi is an honourable man who is serious in resolving the haze issue that are caused by slash and burn.Reply
He express regret, feel embarrassed about it and willing to take step (such as building canals, step up enforcement and punish the plantation owners and business that started it).
Hence karma ends when President Jokowi cut short his visit to US and fly to the haze site - with 3 days of rain - 3 Universal Values of No-Self, Compassion and Panna Wisdom - that quench Ignorance of Universal Law, Greed, Hatred - and terminate the haze causing karma for this year.
(and at least that VP say something fruitful - suggesting emergency measure - but fall short of regrets and repentance).
Now, Indonesia must implement real and serious measure to stop the decades of haze such as building more canals for every estate, publish fire-starters and business associate with it, start real enforcement and prevention, look at sustainable way of clearing plantation and stop burning ----- for future karma to cease.
