Now is the best time to fulfil the commitment to stop burning and used sustainable method for cultivation.

It pays to "do good, refrain from bad" - this is the fundamental Universal Law of Karma.

Do it right this time - to last for a lifetime - and should not err again - else the backlash from the nature will be tremendous.
