This is one scenario of a minor hell realm out of the168 major and minor hell realm.

Sentinet beings in the minor hell realm constantly live in fear and every moment, will be attack by other sentinent beings in the minor hell realm.

Don't assume the attacker will be scott-free - because through the volition of their karma - if they landed in this minor hell realm, they will be similarly assaulted like the victim.

If the assaulters did not land in this minor hell realm - because they are compensated by other good karma - similar scenario will be reaped by this assaulters through the volition of their this karma - in human realm or in animal realm. Thus those who commit cruel sins - must always be mindful of karma - "what comes around goes around. we reap what we sow".

If this victim die from assault, then all this assaulters - through the volition of their karma - maybe landed in the major hell realm, being assaulted passed away and then scenario repeated again and again until they repented and until their karma expired.

The message is :- 

"Refrain from evil.

Do good.

Control the manifestation of our 3 inherent evil roots of Hatred/Anger, Greed/Wrong Attachment and Ignorance of Universal Law.

Manifest our 3 inherent wholesome roots of No-Self, Compassion and Panna Wisdom".

RIcky, you may have a reason to explain so that people will be aware what they are doing will effect them in the future. However, nowadays young people do not care. What they want is instant gratification !

Even adults do such things without knowing the consequences - the Universal Law of Karma - which can manifest in this current life, next life or future lives.

Street brawl, civil wars, wars between and among countries.
