More windows fall from high-rise flats: BCA recordsFrom January to May, there were 27 such cases, BCA records show
To prevent windows or people throwing heavy objects and hurt the people walking below, suggest that HDB build a catchment platform by extending from the 1st floor like a shelter all the way to the carpark.

By doing so, any objects drop or thrown from high rise floor will not injured any pedestrians as the catchment platform will have cushion and hold the falling objects. The catchment platform should be able to withstand the force of heavy objects falling from the highest floor.

The catchment platforms can also have dual used - like using it to support the mounting of solar panels to generate electricity - so that the platform can be put to good used and not bring to waste.
