Under Singapore chairmanship, ASEAN Economic Community integration with other Economic Blocs - has many success and indeed is a bright spot of multilateral trade system for the World to see.
Eg.
(1) ASEAN - China FTA
(2) ASEAN - Russia FTA
(3) ASEAN - Japan FTA
(4) ASEAN - S Korea FTA
(5) RCEP (16 Countries including ASEAN)
--- also some initiative on ASEAN-EU FTA.
--- not to mention CPTPP that will begin end of this year.
A very good year for ASEAN.
