The World in this few years achieve so little - collectively as a whole ---- due mainly to sorely lack of World leadership.

What Singapore has achieved through ASEAN as chair ---- is certainly a light that lit up the darkness and coldness that have forsaken Humanity collectiveness to mutually benefit one another in the Globe.

What we see are :-
(1) Natural disasters striking across the Globe - eg. runaway forest fires, devastating hurricanes, relentless rain causing flooding, earthquakes, iceberg the size of big Countries breaking away and many other disasters ------ but there are no collectively human leadership to stop the trend of Global Warming ---- and what we see are many self-interest, blaming, finger pointing, accusation of guilts.

(2) Trade wars levy across the Globe, breaking of trade deals, spiking trade tariffs -- instead of cooperation to forge mutually beneficial trade deals to benefit Countries, corporate and the people.

(3) Breaking of arm deals to preserve peace - instead of forging more peace deals to reduce conflict and forge cooperation for mutual benefits.

For the World we see are the dark sides of Humanity emerging - featuring self-interest, finger pointing, blaming, mutual destructive acts --- and we fail see any one taking World Leadership to bring Countries, Grouping together ---- to do collective good.

World Leadership must come with 3 attributes :-
(1) Wisdom - Insights of Global issues and able to come out with solutions to resolve the Global issues.

(2) Muscle - the strengh (financial, connections, self interest and collective interest) to be able to pull the weight.

(3) Ability to lead and pull Global Leaders and Countries together - and support the World Leadership.

All the above are lacking in the Globe for the past few years --- and the Globe just limbo to get by.

Hence Singapore playing a regional role - specifically in ASEAN pulling Asia Leaders and other Global Leaders to push ASEAN-& others agenda - to promote trade, business, investment and peace ---- will surely be a "Light of Wisdom" to guide the World which otherwise will linger in the "Darkness of Limbo - due to self-serving and self-interest".

The foreign affair principles :-
"Friends with All.
Adversity with None.
Forge mutual benefits with Win-Win outcome".

is the sure way to :-
"build up strategic trust, mutual confidence, open coherent and consistent communications, we can do a lot together,”
