Paul Tan - This is not true. Many good ideas in the social media have been taken and implemented in a significant way as long as they are constructive and can solve problems.
When there are false news or hate posts floating in the social media --- facts need to be presented to dispel the fake news or hate posts - as the majorities can differentiate what is real and what is fake - that will cause division and hatred to the Society where everyone dwell in.
For those PMETs who got retrenched - should register with e2i and NTUC --- they have career coaches and other routes to help PMETs to find jobs.
Be positive, be patient and show preserverance - they will be able to help anyone who needs help to find jobs.
As long as you trust them - they will help you.
But for those who are cynical - very difficult for the Authority to help them - because their ego and distrust get into the way for others to help them.

Hate to tell you, current and future situation in spore makes no different. With so called 4G leadership will get even tougher for average and below citizens.
The damn problems are suppressed down and reports kept on buzzing in media how good and stable spore was but in actual facts not rectify at all.
