The crossover from Taoism 道教 to Mahayana Buddhism 大乘佛法 - is through 观世音菩萨 (Kuan Shi Yin Pu Sa) and 弥勒佛 (Matrieya Buddha).

The crossover from Hinduism to Buddhism is via Theravada Buddhism - Samadhi Jhana and eventually Nirvana Fruition.

The crossover from Shinto to Buddhism is via Zen Buddhism.

Buddhism does not believe any divine being punishing or rewarding anyone.

All reward and punishment ---- is due to the Universal Law of Karma.

That is "You reap what you sow". "You reward yourself or You punish yourself".

Universal Law is like a "Mirror".

You throw the ball directly - 10 ounce onto the mirror and it bounce back 10 ounce back to you.

If you throw the ball indirectly - it will still hit you back indirectly.

The human body of all divines - will still subject to the Universal Law of Karma.
If not all do things with impunity - how can?
