While the overall economic picture is improving, many voters in the countryside have struggled with inflated living costs.

This is an important pointers for democratic elected government :-
(1) While the economy grow, it is important that citizens are not left behind and does not share the fruits of the economic growth.
(2) Under-employment and unemployment must be closely tracked, monitor and acted upon to ensure it is resolved eg. through Big Data, Meta data.
Else it will be an overturn of the incumbents as experience in Trump syndrome in US and now the incumbent BN in Malaysia.
