By using ship incursion into our territory - is the same textbook tactics employ by this old man - when he tried to force his way on Pedra Branca many decades ago.
It has resulted in many ugly scenes at that time - that almost resulted in armed conflict - until both sides decide to submit to the International Court of Justice to resolve the issue.

Now this old fox Dr M - is replaying his old tactics to try to bully Singapore again on the Port limit.

We should stand firm and assertive in standing up to Dr M and his bullying tactics.

On a personal end for Singaporean citizens --- we can do something against the bullying tactics employ by this old man :-

We as Singaporeans should take pride in ourselves and our Country.

If this old man has the propensity to consistently display unfriendliness, and hostility towards us and our Countries - hurting our interests --- then why should we as a citizens --- help this old man to continue to hurt our interests by giving him money to hurt us --- such as patronizing their retail, recreation and making them rich?

We should spend our money in Singapore to help our own people - by giving them business and create more local jobs.
S$16.6 billion a year is a big sum of money - and if Singaporeans spend this in Singapore - how many jobs we can create and how our business can benefit and earn good profit. Why give such a big sum to this old man - to hurt Singapore and Singaporeans?
It is stupid of us to do so.

Also we can see that in their Parliament --- they start to pinpoint Singaporeans as their whipping boys eg. the airspace management, suggestion by their MPs to stop Singaporean cars for plying on their road, immigration officers tearing Singaporean passports, ships incursion into our territory etc.

Only when they display genuine effort to forge friendly relationship with Singapore - should we as citizens show friendliness by visiting their places --- because benefits should be mutual.

By stopping visits to Malaysia - is the most immediate outcome to display our displeasure - and hurt them immediately. This is within our means to do so ---- so why not do it? Our actions will speak louder than words. A loss of RM50 billion (S$16.6 billion) a year will hurt them quite badly ---- as they are already budgeting for deficit - and their coffer is running dry.

When people slap us in the right side of the face --- we should stop visiting them and stop giving them business.
Not let them slap our left side of the face - by still visiting them and continue to give them business.

陈金宝 - Yes, should send them signals - we will stand up to bully.

Notice that we protect our territory by Police Coast Guard follow by our Navy.

We should display a strong presence of warships (armed with Harpoon missiles and Aster missiles) near Tuas off coast.
We should also fly our Naval helicopter (armed with Hellfire missiles) plus patrol by F16s and F15s above Tuas waterway.

Actually, we can do one more thing :-
(1) Police Coast Guard - to intercept and warn them when their ships intrude.
(2) Navy - can deploy a display of maneouvre of unmanned stealth warships and unmanned drones as the 2nd line of defense.
(3) Navy - can deploy our state-of-the art Formidable class frigate (armed with Harpoon missile and Aster missile) with our Sikorsky Naval Helicopter (armed with Hellfire missile) - as the 3rd line of defense.

As backup, our F15s and F16s should be ready to fly - if things turn ugly.

Jimmy Hui - Our Sovereignty have been trampled on and a direct threat are make on us.

We must stand up and use our assets to the fullest - to deter any threat directed at us.
We must not let our adversary go away with the idea the Singapore can be bullied !

Under this multiple layer of naval and air defences --- do you think that old man can intrude into our water territories?

We can also rest our naval guys and air force guys = with 24 hours patrol deploying unmanned stealth warships along our territorial water.

Tan Tuang Ser - If this old man violate our territorial Sovereignty - our response should be strong and robust.

And when we negotiate with him, we negotiate with the position of strength not weakness.

This old man is facing internal crisis --- and as usual, he is using Singapore as whipping boy to divert attention.

But we must not always let this old man use us - as his cookbook to whip us whenever he face internal problem --- and to stop his nonsense - is to respond with strength.

Paul Tan - CPF is our internal policy. We should not let people be manipulated or sandwiched by politician politics.
This old man has no right to interfere in our internal policy.

We should stand strong and firm - and will respond to him accordingly when it comes.

This old man has not much leverage against us.

But we have plenty of leverage against him.
