We noted that 2 intruding ships have left.

But 1 intuding ship is still in our Territorial Water - and it is still an intrusion.

Under Article 3 - UN Law of Sea

Peacetime use of Force, Military Activities, and the
New Law of the Sea

B. USE OF FORCE IN THE TERRITORIAL SEA
Apart from a situation of belligerency, the occasions in which the
territorial sea has been the theater for acts of force arise in two typical
situations.

The first occurs when coastal states react against what they
perceive as a provocative or offensive act by foreign ships.

The second situation arises when a foreign state acts to assert navigational claims
against the coastal state.

This mean it is still within our jurisdiction under the UN Sea of Law to use force - as long as foreign intrusion into our territorial water is still in place.

Now the question is :-
(1) Is this remaining ship armed?
(2) or is this remaining ship unarmed.

This is a different type of provocation - where armed ship is a more severe form of provocation.

Still we cannot guarantee the safety of this intruding ship.

But the talk will only be telling them - their last intruding ship must leave - before we continue to talk.

Else they bear the consequences if anything happen to their intruding ship.

Ricky Lim country statement is quite clear that water is our. Their boat need to leave, yes but no need to hold talk except to hand matter to maritime court straight away after that.

The old man in their state television telling his nation they will sure win in this incident plan by him.

Then we tell them what we want.

If talk also don't let them talk - they will gadang gabo - because we are holding the right to act.

Letting them talk is to give them face to retract - we still hope that they will retreat gracefully - and we still hope that we need not use force.
But after giving them face, and after exhausting all diplomatic means - and the intruding ship is still there doing provocation - then we have every right to act.
This is already maximum restraint and patience - but all restraint and patience will one day run out.
