do you know how tariffs work? if China is selling something at $100, US slapping a 30% tariff does not mean China is paying US $30, the importing US company is the one paying the $30. So when apple imports the next iphone to sell in US, apple is paying the 30% tariffs and a $1000 iphone becomes $1300 for US buyers.
