The acquisition of the yacht should have done through "proper rule of law" - to avoid legal repercussion.

Now the legal owner of the yacht is a big question mark - how to sell? And who will buy it?

Not everything can be done "kawan kawan" - as it has legal implications.

Rule of law must be duly followed - not by wilful wishes or by brute force.

Heard that a private jet is grounded in Singapore.
Singapore should go through proper legal due process - and should not be done "kawan kawan" without following through the proper rule of law.
It will boomerang back on us and on Malaysia - and even if Malaysia physically acquire the jet - they can't sell it - and both Singapore and Malaysia will face legal backlash.

Talking is cheap but with all Legal matters concerning this yacht still not settled... how to sell... prepare to lose many more millions of Malaysia's money to maintain it for many more years and till all settled, it will be a White Elephant to remind all of your 'brilliant old snake brain !!!!

High maintenance cost is huge liability so no-one would buy. Besides people who can afford usually want their own design and may find this yacht undesirable.
US DOJ might make a claim , so there could be a lot of legal complication awaiting . It is not a clean asset so better to avoid.
